Gaiman, buried

Stephen Colbert “buried” Neil Gaiman on the “Colbert Report” last night. Gaiman was on to talk about the Graveyard Book, and like always, he interviewed beautifully. He’s just as witty in interviews as his stories are. My favorite quote: “Children’s fiction always has a little bit of darkness in it.” Or, to state the implied, good children’s fiction always has a bit of darkness in it. So very true.

Plus, now I’m waiting on pins and needles for Stephen’s upcoming children’s title, F*** It, We’re All Going to Die, with illustrations by Art Spiegelman.
