Oh c’mon, its me. Get your mind out of the gutter and celebrate National Limerick Day! Edward Lear is the father of the limerick and still perhaps its best executor. The home of Lear on the web, NonsenseLit.org, was my home during thesis, so I’ll leave you to celebrate with a limerick I found there:

There was an Old Person of Spain,

Who hated all trouble and pain;

So he sat on a chair with his feet in the air,

That umbrageous Old Person of Spain.
